Terms and conditions
The agreement between you and AEVONA Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. for using the AEVONA app and this website.
Last updated 13 August 2026 · AEVONA Healthcare Pvt. Ltd.
In plain language
AEVONA is a diary and a booking desk. It records what you enter and helps you book a dialysis session in another city. It is not a doctor and it does not give medical advice.
You must be 18 or older to hold an account. You are responsible for what you enter being accurate, and for keeping access to your phone number secure.
A booking is only real once AEVONA confirms it. Until then it is a request. You pay the clinic directly — we do not take payment for treatment.
You can stop using AEVONA whenever you like, export your data, and ask us to erase it.
This summary is for orientation only. Where it and the formal text below differ, the formal text applies.
1.Who we are, and what these terms cover
The AEVONA service is operated by AEVONA Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. (“AEVONA”, “we”, “us”). These terms govern your use of the AEVONA mobile application, this website, and any related service we provide. By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms.
Separate terms apply to AEVONA staff and to AEVONA-certified dialysis centres, who access their own restricted areas of the service under agreements made with them directly.
This document has been drafted to describe the service accurately but has not yet been reviewed by legal counsel qualified in Indian law. It must be reviewed and, if necessary, amended before public launch.
2.AEVONA does not provide medical advice
This is the most important term in this document. AEVONA is a self-management diary and a logistics service. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose any condition, and it does not interpret your results clinically.
- Nothing in the app is a substitute for the advice of your nephrologist, dialysis unit, or any other qualified clinician.
- Thresholds, ranges, and trend displays in the app are presentational aids based on general reference values. They are not tailored to you and must not be used to decide treatment.
- Diet and fistula-care guides are general educational material. Your own unit's instructions take priority over anything in the app.
- Never delay seeking medical attention because of something the app showed, or did not show.
In a medical emergency, contact your dialysis unit or your local emergency service immediately. Do not use the app, this website, or our contact form to report an emergency.
3.Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to hold an AEVONA account.
- Accounts are created and accessed using a one-time password sent by SMS to your mobile number. Keeping control of that number and of your device is your responsibility.
- One account represents one patient. Do not create an account on someone else's behalf without their knowledge — use caregiver access instead.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of what you record. We cannot verify your entries, and inaccurate entries produce misleading trends.
4.Caregiver access
You may invite up to two caregivers to view your records and log entries for you. Invitations work by a pairing code that you share with them. A caregiver you have linked can see and add to your health records.
- Only invite people you intend to have full access to your health diary.
- You may revoke a caregiver's access at any time, and the revocation takes effect immediately on our servers.
- Entries a caregiver makes are recorded as part of your diary and remain in it after their access ends.
5.Travel dialysis bookings
AEVONA operates a booking service between you and independent dialysis centres. We are not a healthcare provider and we do not deliver dialysis treatment.
- A submitted booking is a request, not a confirmed appointment. It becomes an appointment only when AEVONA marks it confirmed after checking capacity with the centre.
- Before confirmation you are shown the centre's area, AEVONA audit score, machine count, price per session, notice required, and distance to the nearest emergency hospital. The centre's name, full address, and telephone number are released to you only on confirmation.
- You may cancel a request yourself while it is still pending. Once confirmed, a booking must be changed or cancelled by contacting AEVONA, because the centre has reserved capacity for you.
- You pay the centre directly for treatment. AEVONA does not collect payment for dialysis sessions, and the price shown is the centre's indicative price, which may change.
- Treatment is delivered by the centre under its own clinical judgement and its own terms. The centre may decline to treat you if, in its clinical opinion, it cannot do so safely.
An AEVONA audit score reflects our assessment at the time of the audit against our own criteria. It is not an accreditation, a licence, a clinical guarantee, or a warranty of any outcome.
6.Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to obtain a centre's identifying details other than through a confirmed booking, or attempt to circumvent that restriction.
- Access, probe, or interfere with any part of the service you have not been granted access to, including staff and clinic areas.
- Scrape, resell, or systematically extract centre listings or any other content.
- Submit booking requests you do not intend to keep, or otherwise misuse coordinators' time and clinics' capacity.
- Upload unlawful content, or content about another person that you have no right to share.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and we will tell you why unless we are legally prevented from doing so.
7.Availability and changes to the service
AEVONA's core tracking features are designed to work offline on your device, and we intend the service to be available continuously. We do not, however, promise uninterrupted availability: maintenance, network failures, device problems, and third-party outages all happen.
- Medication reminders are scheduled by your device. They depend on your device's clock, battery, and notification settings, and may not fire if the operating system restricts the app or the device is switched off.
- Entries made offline are stored on your device and sent to us when a connection is available. Uninstalling the app before that happens can lose entries that had not yet synced.
- We may add, change, or withdraw features. Where a change materially reduces what the service does for you, we will give notice in the app.
8.Intellectual property
The AEVONA application, this website, the AEVONA name and marks, and our diet and care guides belong to AEVONA or our licensors. You may use them only as part of using the service. The AEVONA wordmark and brand element may not be reproduced without our written permission.
The health records you enter remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store, encrypt, process, and display them back to you and to any caregiver you have invited.
9.Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for clinical decisions taken by you, by a caregiver, or by any clinician, whether or not informed by the app.
- We are not liable for the acts, omissions, standard of care, or availability of any dialysis centre, including a centre we have audited and certified.
- We are not liable for loss arising from entries that were not synced, reminders that did not fire because of device or operating-system behaviour, or data you chose to share with a caregiver.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, or business opportunity.
10.Your data
How we handle your personal data is set out in our privacy policy and, in more detail, in our data collection and retention policy. Both form part of these terms. In short: your data is held on servers in India, encrypted at rest and in transit, you can export it, and you can require its erasure.
11.Ending your use of AEVONA
- You may stop using the service at any time and delete the app.
- You may request erasure of your account and data from within the app. Erasure destroys the key used to encrypt your records, so the data cannot afterwards be recovered — including by us.
- We may close an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or where required by law.
- Erasure does not remove records we must keep for a legal or accounting reason. Those are described in the data collection and retention policy.
12.Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at the seat of AEVONA's registered office have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Please raise a complaint with us first — most matters are resolved that way.
13.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Where a change materially affects your rights we will notify you in the app or by SMS before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms.
